Genadendal (Valley of Grace) is a quaint little village approximately 90 minutes drive east of Cape Town. 

Overlooked by the majestic Grootkop(Big head) mountain, which has watched the amazing history of the little village play out over the centuries. 

The village is the oldest mission station in South Africa and is home to 3500 people and the Genadendal Mission Museum, a national monument with beutifully restored historic buildings, showcasing some of our countries most important artifacts. You’ll feel like you’ve stepped back in time as you learn about Genadendal’s inspiring history.

With friendly faces greeting you as you make your way down the streets of old and new houses, make sure to watch out for the horses and cows that roam about.

This unassuming little village is full of surpises waiting to be discovered.
